You’d be forgiven for thinking the Level Group has been shaping the national Plumbing and Electrical Industry for some time, but the Group only recently celebrated its first anniversary. Since it was founded, an impressive number of milestones have been reached.

As we commence 2023, we start the year with several amendments to the employment landscape. One such amendment is the entitlement to paid family and domestic violence leave for all employees (including full-time, part-time and casual employees).  

Fuel cells are Type B Gas Devices in Queensland. Section 731AA of the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 (the Act) requires all gas devices be approved before installation or use. Until recently, the specified scope of existing authorities did not include fuel cell gas systems.

Currently, the Building and Construction industry is beset by labour shortages. As a result, contractors may face a situation where their subcontractors cannot obtain the necessary labour to maintain the program, and the contractor must step in.
